Matilde Bono

My name is Matilde Bono, I’m a photographer from Turin, Italy.
I grew up surrounded by art, cinema and music, passions that naturally led me to photography. My fascination began at five years old, flipping through Vogue Italia and being mesmerized by Franca Sozzani’s vision.

After studying photography at IED Turin, I explored different areas of the field, from still life and events to portraits, and later entered the fashion world through Getty Images and Tonatto Profumi, where I discovered my love for the poetic side of fashion imagery.

After moving to Paris, I had the chance to work as third assistant to Paolo Roversi and to collaborate with several studios, including Studio Daylight, Studio Daguerre, and LSF.
Those experiences deepened my understanding of light, elegance, and the emotional power behind an image.

Today, my goal is to continue working in fashion, from campaigns and editorials to backstage storytelling, creating images that capture both beauty and truth.
