This collection draws inspiration from the 1950s, when women sought emancipation despite societal oppression. It tells the story of a woman who builds a wardrobe from household fabrics, curtains, tablecloths, and bedsheets symbolizing the burdens women carry and their resilience. Using recycled, unconventional materials inspired by postwar “make do” creativity, the designs mix irony, volume, and detail to honor women’s strength and self-expression. Ultimately, the collection celebrates fashion as a means of liberation and storytelling.
